A few years ago, I remember my sister telling me that her husband wanted a fancy hundred-dollar Sonicare toothbrush. His teeth were having bad luck with the dentist, and he thought this new fangled sonic wonder from Philips was going to keep the cavities away. My sister didn't seem too keen on this expensive toothbrush, so I was surprised when I went on a family beach trip this summer and found my parents had a Sonicare toothbrush. My sister and brother-in-law arrived a couple days later, and they also had a Sonicare toothbrush. Read more

What makes the Sonicare different from other toothbrushes? From my experience, the Sonicare is much better at removing plaque and food particles than traditional toothbrushes. While you still must move the Sonicare around in your mouth and brush with it like any other toothbrush, the rotating head does the job much more effectively. Read more

Electric toothbrushes usually do much of the brushing for you, meaning you move the brush around much less and let the motorised bristle head do the work as you gently move it around your mouth. Applied with the correct pressure you will allow yourself to achieve a focused deep cleaning action on all areas. Read more

I've been using this toothbrush for about two months now. At first, I HATED it. It is powerful, and it brushed a little too hard. It was a tickling sensation - similar to the dentist's office. I had trouble getting the toothpaste to stay on until I started putting the brush in my mouth before I turned it on. Read more

In our opinion, it's a bit pricey but our reviewers seem to like the Sonicare Elite 7300 Toothbrush. It has a two minute timer on it and it also has a low charge indicator so you can recharge the brush and never be without it. With three different modes for sensitive teeth to super cleaning mode, the Sonicare Elite 7300 Toothbrush with Sonic Technology is adaptable to anyone's needs. The heads clean teeth exceptionally well, say our smiling reviewers, and plaque buildup is almost non-existent with regular use of the Sonicare Elite 7300 Toothbrush. Reviewer Ndockum says, "It is expensive but is worth it. My teeth feel cleaner than ever and a co-worker wanted to know if I was using whitening strips because my teeth looked whiter." Our reviewers give this system the thumbs up! Let just say that Sonicare is the brand personally used by more U.S. dental professionals than any other power toothbrush.
