Gather all of your toddler’s sippy cups from around the house. It is good to have a set number of sippy cups that you keep for your child. Fill your kitchen sink with hot water and dish soap. You want to use the warmest water that you can get out of your faucet. The hot water will help to kill microbes and bacteria that accumulate on your toddler’s sippy cups.
Open up each sippy cup and discharge out any unexpended juice or milk that may be in it. Remove the plastic valve that prevents the milk from spilling out of the spout of the sippy cup.
